  I am confident that this product will find my target audience well, and it will be well-received in terms of interpretation. The imagery is representative of the impact these players have on their communities, building courts to draw city kids away from crime, giving back to their communities even if they are only starting out in the community, and voicing their beliefs on and off the court.

  I have my magazine finished in a rough concept with my feature article imported and my pictures arranged in a stylish visio n of where they should be.  For my content page, I brainstormed entertaining contemporary articles that would be relevant to an issue of the magazine I am creating , and hypothetically, if the industry started moving slower with less news, the magazine could move towards analytical articles on the game to fill in for other news. .  An example of one of the other articles that I would have in the magazine is an article about the cultur al effects of the James Harden trade to the Brooklyn Nets that happened on Wednesday of this past week. After spending some sessions to make the magazine look more professional, I will work on getting two peer  reviews from classmates prior to turning in the magazine, and it will be presentable to showcase my work to all my classmates the following week.  

  I have most of my photos taken and my feature article is finished, using mainly Russell Westbrook and Damian Lillard as the subjects since they were consensus inspiration s  among  people I interviewed . Th is selection of players to write about  work s  very well because  it brings  another dimension to the feature article due to  the ir  passive-aggressive  dynamic   towards each other  whilst simultaneously both providing for their comm unities , and the interviewed employees appreciated Russell’s fashion sense and Damian Lillard’s expanded influence in footwear and rap.  There is also a correlation between their impact in their communities and the intensity and determination they play with every day, but in different ways.  Over the three-day weekend I will be able to take a lot of time to practice more with the software to make sure my magazine is a presentable product for my class and captures the concept I ha...

  I have adjusted my concept now, so it is not needed to interview someone with a large  platform,  and I can base my feature article on how the influence of the se players have affected people, and I can interview regular followers on who their role models are in terms of basketball  and how they have been influenced by players.  My instructor advised me to interview an employee at a store where basketball shoes are sold to give better insight on the most marketable and influential shoes of the time, along with player’s influence in other  areas, potentially.  I will likely interview individuals at my school and go to a shoe store over the weekend to get material for the article and take pictures with shoes and clothing that have been influenced by basketball players.  As of  January 10 th  I have conducted interviews with shoe store employees to reach a consensus on cultural influence to write about, and I have taken photos of items th...

  Over the two weeks off from school I made efforts to refine the questions that I plan to ask potential interview subjects. I had very little success with contacting  celebrities, but I did get a response from one host of the podcast that I referenced, asking me how soon the interview would have to be. I responded with saying that my timetable for interviewing is ideally between now and January 10 th , or a couple days after that , to which I have not yet received a response and at this rate I will run out of time. My final hope before having to expand my magazine to other topics like musicians and football players  is  emailing the primary podcast hosts at his email for business inquiries , which I did on  Monday  the 4 th .
